I've been following this blog for a while, and this Googler have occassionally spoken of a secret project she's involved in. Niniane was an engineer on Google Desktop, and on Google Search Movie Reviews. She won a google founder's award, so obviously she is one of their best.

Although I've been following the blog, she never gives any evidence what her newest project is about. But today she mentions a meeting in which it seems her project was cited as the best project currently at Google. I would be very interested in knowing what this project is, will someone do some sniffing? Could it be Gdrive, Lighthouse?

C'mon, someone needs to Google Google on this project because its sounding like the other projects previously released are pale in comparison.

oh yea, she was once on the gmail team too.

I think she's just expressing her feeling about Google.

She's not just expressing her feelings about Google. She is working on a real project – you could read about it at http://niniane.blogspot.com/2005/12/bend-it-like-beckham.html there she speaks of convincing Google executives to make a acquisition offer.

is it at all possible that she is just passionate about whatever she works on? or maybe she is simply a good con artist convincing us all that there is one more great thing on the horizon!

Well, you could just call her and ask her "did you get the email where I was talking about your project" and then she will answer "which project do you mean, the Google XYZ one?".

/pd – if you read her vague blog posts on the subject, you get the impression that the project is a fresh idea. She describes it as something that's potentially game changin. Anyway, I would not take her lightly, all the projects she have been behind in the past has been successful.
