Douglas Bowman, recently accepted an offer to join Google as Visual Design Lead, a position that did not previously exist there.

He was consulted for the design of Google Calendar, which in my opinion has one of the best interface designs among Google's online apps such as Reader, Gmail, Notebook, and so on. So I do expect some nice designs now that he is part of Google and heading the Visual Design department. |
