It also somehow uses the "suggest" feature for yahoo too... I wonder if they are actually using the suggest stuff from Google or if they made their own?

also, the anti-phishing that is baked in doesn't use Google by default – you can opt to use Google as the database for looking up phishing stuff though... i dont know what it uses by default.

I don't see how you can opt to use google anywhere on the phishing thing. But it *is* the "google safe browsing" extension (now part of the google toolbar for firefox). All the links (report website etc) go to google.com pages as well.

nvm, i found the option. Now that makes more sense.
