43 million users were effected between 10-4PM today with AOL email services. Any idea what exactly was the nature of thier glitch. ..this is a major service degradation and failure point

No effect to me, Ich bin AOL Benutzer nicht[I am not a AOL user, I guess this is how to say it, just a GTranslator test].

"Ich bin kein AOL-Benutzer" would be the German way to say it :)
I once told someone from the US that we have America OnLine in Germany too and he thought I was kidding him!

Is there anyone outside the US who is AIM user and was effected ?? Was this local failure or aross the grid too ??

another good reason to drop those bozos. when I got my first dell in 97..it came with aol. since i didnt know any better, i popped it right in there.

(this was 33.6 dial-up.)
