Italian Republic Celebration (this is the 60th year), in fact today
all schools and many commercial activities are closed for the
celebration, and there will be military parades and things like this
in the whole country. The doodle sends to the search "Anniversario
della Repubblica Italiana" that has as the first result the
Quirinale, the palace where the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano
lives.
I think it's the first only italian doodle. I don't remember any
