If you block someone's email address from your gmail account, and they try to email you not knowing you blocked their address...are they notified that you blocked their address, or that you did not get their email? Or does it just not say anything and they think you got it? THANK YOU!

No I think Lisa means under the contact Listing you have a pull down tab, which permits you to block that user. If thats the case, i understand it will only be for chat
if you have blocked via a spam filter , they will not get notified at all.

BTW If you block someone why would you even care that they are notified from this fact?
