Can anyone guess the date this will debut as a labs beta
imagine creating a powerpoint online and serving it online or offline
This ironically, would be the the logical extension of Google AJAXing Microsoft Office
new tagline... The AjAX-ification of MS office :LOL

One guess: if spreadsheet today, a powerpoint alike feature by 1/1/2007? |
And then we still need Google Access – a simple API-pluggable database backend for any website (with easy widgets for Google Page Creator and Blogger). Hmm, what else? |
Google Draw aka Google Paint aka Google Photo Google WYSIWYG aka Google Pagefront Google @bank (looks cooler than e-bank) Google Tax (no, they don't pay your taxes, but it helps to save hundreds of dollars each year) |
> Google WYSIWYG aka Google Pagefront
Isn't that called Google Pages? |
That sucks. No online JS adding for example. I want an AJAX based Macrom... ehhh Adobe Dreamweaver! |
Yeah I'm looking forward to Google Access. Would they base it one MySql? It should still have a frontend like php-mysql (or whatever it's called).
Do you think they acutally have some of these products in the making? |
They sure have their own interface (DBMS) for the databases. Only because everything is clustered. |
>That sucks. No online JS adding for example. I want an AJAX based Macrom... ehhh Adobe Dreamweaver!
Yes, you're right, but anyway it's your Google Pagefront. :p
All other products are also not as reach featured as most of the fat client applications we know. I'm sure in far future that will be different. We're know a the very beginning of the Web 2.0 universum. So just have a little patience... |
