Nice! ... i started immediatly to search & overlay all the .kmz files...
simple query " filetype:kmz inurl:kmz " , copy and paste the urls in the google maps form and... voilà ... overlay!
example:
fifa wordcup stadium locations
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=it&q=http://www.lastort.com/GoogleEarth/WorldCup2006Stadiums.kmz&ie=UTF8&om=1
note: some "big" files gives an error (like Acropolis form sketckup site) http://download.sketchup.com/downloads/downloads/plugins/google/Acropolis.kmz
"file too big to display"

Acropolis probably has 3d information in it, not really suitable for google maps. |
