Digg branching out beyond Tech? I've always been surprised that Slashdot didn't branch out. Their site fosters more lucid conversation than Digg, and I'm sure politics, consumer issues, travel, all sorts of things would be popular.

Not necessarily with the same nerds of course, but in the same format.
