Yahoo has joined rock superstar Bono's war on poverty, using its Internet prowess to transform the U2 singer-endorsed One.org website into an online platform for community organizing.
  
The website went live on Friday, according to Meg Garlinghouse, head of the Yahoo for Good division that had a team of engineers and designers "scrum" for several months to overhaul www.one.org.
