Any people who have tried the Opera browser before and were impressed with its speed and efficiency may want to have a look at this.

Today Opera 9 is released, and it is making my default browser decision SO much more difficult. :)

I'll stick with FF. (And for the MS sites I'll leave IE on board as they sure make sure their stuff is only working fine with IE...)

If you want to see a browser that will knock your socks off, take a look at Flock (http://www.flock.com) – this browser is amazing. Philip, do you know about it? I would seriously recommend to all of you to take a look at it, especially bloggers! It's amazing.

I think they're releasing too many major versions in too little time. It starts to feel like what Corel did with their PhotoPaint/ Draw product line... i.e., versioning for marketing purposes.

Not true. Opera doesn't have any market strategy at all.

Philipp: Ok. I am using Opera 9 at the moment (and possibly from now on) but I am finding that these forum threads don't display well. You often get the thing where all the comments extend beyond the border on the right. Any chance of a fix?

I know GCalendar does not work in Opera at all. Gmail too. So how does it make it better, or more functional than FF? Especially, if you use these sites a lot?

Hellooooo... Gmail works in Opera (the chat doesn't work). The calendar is read only.

But Opera is a really cool software.

Ionut, agreed. The interface and features are really nice, though.

OREO> I tried Flock, but didn't think it was that great. I prefer Firefox to Flock. It's got potential though

I'll check into Opera display bugs.
