Anyway you look at it this is not good news for Microsoft. Whether he was fired or resigned it can't mean that things are going well for Microsoft in their war against Google.

Another one bites the dust, yay for Google!
Live might look a bit better but it's still nothing I didn't already have...
They've got a lot of extra's, but nothing useful.

Look at Live Messenger, I've been a BETA-tester from the start but... There are still too much useless extra's. They should also make an option to disable things. I don't want winks, buzzers, voiceclips or whatever... It should be adjustable. Just a simple checkbox to Enable/Disable, that's it.

Or just do it like Google Desktop; Want smilies? Download the smilie gadget. Want winks? Download the wink gadget. Simple! Even better because without all that stuff installed Windows Live would take less diskspace and/or cpu.
