I just want to say I am REALLY happy that they took down Google Groups 2. It is the first time I have honestly thought an interface designed by Google really, really sucked. It seemed like the whole project didn't get enough manpower or funding.

Google, if you are reading this, please go back ot the drawing board! People really love the old heirarchal view, and you just CANT remove the search by date or ability to view only a single message-id. Remember your philosophy for incorporating a _spartan_ design, and don't let it become cluttered like Yahoo Groups! Maximize your strengths!
