Streamload (http://mediamax.streamload.com/index.aspx) Is a web service that allows users to easily send, store, move, receive and access their digital files. (video, photos, music).
If you want to read more about this servis, I wrote some review in my blog: http://go2web2.blogspot.com/2006/06/i-just-cant-get-enough-25gbs-free.html
Cheers. |
Sorry. This is the right link to the service: http://mediamax.streamload.com/index.aspx
:-) |
Orli, thx, it looks quite good, could be something as Google Drive... |
yeah..if at 25GB free thats like 10 times the amount that we have in gmail.. and yeah Gdrive were like this .. it would be so so kewl!! |
but the free account is limited to 100 meg a month upload.
it would take you roughly 250 months to fill 25 gig.
250 months = 20.8 years.
|
what i mean is , they could offer 250,000,000,000,000 terabytes of storage, and still you'd have only 100 meg a month upload.
the amount of storage capacity on offer is pretty meaningless.
|
Actually, it's limited to 500 megs a month DOWNLOAD... upload is unlimited |
youre right.. Justin.. plus, you can only upload a 10 MB file.. which sucks, cause it will take years to upload all your stuff with 10MB upload per file (and i didnt mention the files that arent really 10 MB, and you need to divide them!!) |
Hah this is pretty useless I think. Not only do you have the 0.5 GB a month restriction but files take an age to appear on the service. They say something like this:

I need it there straight away. |
Sam: my files did appear quite fast, but you are right not immediately. I do not understand neither why that mad scientist has to sort those files out? Maybe they optimise there stuff by pointing out to similar files? |
