Does Picasa support hotlinking? If yes, how? The Help section contains no information about this.

And it only allow to upload JPEG, the absolute web *album*.
Seems like there's no way to beat Flickr.

If u click on the picture link u sent , it says it's forbidden .. now that's weird

I don't think Web Albums is intended to compete with Flickr. I see Web Albums being intended for non-computer geeks, (like my parents) to easily share pictures with friends and family. They aren't going to post to blogs, link files or anything of the sort. They just want to share pictures. I think Web Albums does a better job at this than Flickr for main-stream users.

I think you have to add the resolution to it, like "imgmax=72" at the end.
