If Google normally magically recognises that you are situated in a country other than the USA, it will often forward to the appropriate page (e.g. uk members will be thrown to www.google.co.uk)
But, if you go to www.google.com/ncr, you won't have that feature/problem.

Not that I know of. Would it not be quicker just to type in google.cn? The point of my tip is that if you live in the UK, for example, you cant directly get to www.google.com, unless you use /ncr at the end. |
