This only started happening recently, but MSN Does pulls up the SERPs instantly –

There are a few bugs – type in Search Engine optimization

if you have a FOLDER with the same name as the SERPs you go to the folder

So perhaps if an engine is set as the default this does not happen

But if there is NO default search engine set in IE – Microsoft technology will pull up the SERPs on MSN – try it

if there is a folder with name of the keywords – it goes to the folder

Dont forget to post in the new Wikipedia page

It would be a good idea if Philip would post about the idea/creation, and the sudden success of the blog in Technorati top 100

even the forum is successful – but so-o simple and unadorned

no one else could give this detailed info –

Well, I don't want to edit the Wikipedia page on this blog* myself. I believe Wikipedia has a policy where people who can't possibly be objective on a subject better stay out of the editing for a page. Yeah, this policy somewhat conflicts with getting the most information on any topic, but it also makes sense on many levels. Here are a couple of interviews which also talk about how the blog was started:

There are important concerns that outweigh superficial blanket policies... for the good of future researchers

your own words – UNEDITED are vital – because Human Communication is fragile and muti-dimensional

1- How the idea of the blog commenced? The steps taken to realize that dream

2- Your "emotions" watching the blog become so popular?

3- Your reaction when GOOGLE themselves added a link to your blog

Want to add the human element to the wiki – your instincts should be archiv ed. Your emotions etc....are important to add a dimension

Search Engines Web, that would be a press release rather an impartial summary about the blog. I think its vitally important that people don't write about themselves. It is impossible to contradict most of the things people say about themselves whether or not the information is true, that would be claiming you knew more about the person than the person them self.

In a nutshell, I didn't get enough daily Google news in around April 2003 while living in Malaysia that I started the blog I wanted to read. To realize this I set-up a Blogger blog, FTP-ing the posts to my domain for greated independence from Google (turns out this was a good idea, as I later switched to my own software as Blogger was often slow). This was shortly after Blogger was bought by Google. I kind of missed the whole blog phenomenon 'cause I was too involved in programming a CMS at that time, and on superfifical review blogs were merely meant for people with no HTML skills. Of course that was a misunderstanding on my part, but that's why I started blogging relatively late, 'cause I missed the social aspect!

It's great! There was no immediate peak along the road but it was little by little, step by step, through the help of everyone participating.

Nice, but nothing crucial or too important. Someone at the Google blog team once told me they read this blog, so I asked them "OK, why don't you have a link to it then?" so they said yeah, makes sense and added Google Blogoscoped :)
