Apparently Google Spreadsheets has an unofficial API out now. Take a look here:

This looks like very unofficial. Anyone tried to fill in his e-mail address in the demo overthere? |
################################### ######### STOP! ################## ################################### they just want to steal you mail address don't fill the form! |
Let me ask you this. How are they going to share a mashed Google Spreadsheet without your email address? Every Google Spreadsheet I've seen so far requires a gmail address to share it. Anybody else know if this is legit? |
Not at all – the email is the only way for Google spreadsheets to invite you to share a spreadsheet. Nothing is done with the email, it's just used in the api call for that one instance to google. If you'd prefer not to give it, feel free to download the api itself and run the demo from your own machine. Rhys

I put in my email and clicked search and it created a new shared spreadsheet in my Google Spreadsheets account with the Amazon book listing results in the spreadsheet. The code is looking pretty good to me. Anybody know Python? |
It's very cool. I trust anyone who uses Python and has an old-fashioned blog template. |
