My favourite Historical Google page is the one where they offer a free Google pen if you memorize their terms and conditions word for word:

From the "Notification of Account Termination for My-Deja Email Accounts" page:
> If you do not have another free email provider, you may > wish to try one of the services listed here ... You may also > choose to set-up your account with BigMailBox, the > current service provider for your my-deja.com account > and the source of many of the promotional email messages > addressed to you there.
Is that a subtle way of saying "Try to find a better free email provider than these spammers"? |
It was way back man .. I guess they were just trying to direct users to a more friendly "buyable" email provider, for future references. |
hahaha
While Google has facilitated this service during the transition of the Usenet archive from Deja, offering email does not fit our focus on offering the highest-quality search results.
