Well, Gmail no longer seems to say "Messages 1-100 of thousands" it actually gives the exact number. I know this is not important, but maybe there were other changes I did not notice? Did this maybe happen when they introduced the select all feature?

I haven't gotten this for forever in label or all mail view and I'm still getting it with search results.

I am getting "1 – 20 of about 130". I know Gmail updated a bit of their code today. Maybe this is the one.

I'm getting "1-100 of thousands", but when there are really thousands of messages, like in "All Mail". Previously it wasn't giving exact number for labels where there was only hundreds of mails. Now it is, for example, "1 – 100 of 863". Nice and sometimes useful.

Yep I get it too. 1-50 of 927.
