My feedreader has been chock full of news about digg. I went back 5 pages on digg.com and there were these all these links that had digg in the title:
* http://www.harold.liberty-host.com/digg_lab_method/index.html * http://www.flickr.com/photos/therift/198688791/ * http://serverboy.net/wiki/Digg * http://mthorn.net/articles/The_Digg_This_Firefox_Toolbar_Extension.html * http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/icons_screensavers/idleweb.html * http://www.pbs.org/mediashift/2006/07/digging_deepershould_community.html * http://jeffrey903.blogspot.com/2006/07/digg-stack-and-swarm-hidden-message.html * http://diggtheblog.blogspot.com/2006/07/digg-labs-launches-alpha.html
It seems that if you want to experience the digg effect, the best thing to do is to write a post about digg and then digg it. I'm getting the feeling that digg really digs itself, and that's a bit too recursive for me.
"Digg – news about digg. Stuff that matters." |
Interestingly alot of these are being culled from the actual site – but are still in the RSS feed. |
But don't be too critical with what you do... this one didn't make it (I think it got buried): http://www.diggsoundboard.com/
Maybe in 2008, 98% of all Digg posts will be about Digg... with an elite crowd of Digg watchers making sure no Digg criticism ever gets in. |
yeah that 98% will represent about 8-10 posting per day.. only . that is if Digg continues to be cited in such light, without taking corrective action..
