Google has inbuilt player for voicemails.....

looks great! but why are they using the google video one? wouldn't it be better to offer the one that is in google reader? why would you need to fullscreen an audio message?! unless they are planning on introducing video into GTalk, and you will be able to send videomails. now that would be cool!

I have the new version of Google Talk, but no change in Gmail, so I don't have the built-in player :-(

yours has got the google video bit on the right hand side of the player

nope i haven't edited it. i've checked in my gmail, and it's exactley as i've posted it. are you still seing the google video bar?

yes i still get but non of them are buffering or streaming...

did you install the latest version of flash player ?
i mean adobe flash player.....

Just download them from Gmail.

actually the first screenshot i posted was from my computer and again i checked in cyber cafe ....i got the same google video... i am posting my screenshot again..

i even cleared the cache....and also i could see the googe video logo..

any suggestions ?

Google uses this player for voicemail. It's the same as for Google Video.

Maybe there's a problem with the width of the player.

no one else can see it apart from Sankar. Why would the have video controls for audio though? thats just stupid.

i dont use google video at all. not even visited google video site for the past 4 months ? then how come! i think maybe a width problem as inoux said

i can't see it yet but it seems to me that the video controls could be for a future or soon-to-be-release option to send webcam video captures or Google Video attachments, etc to GMail users. just think about it.
