I need to find a blog backup utility that can work with Blogger blogs. Something such as BlogCollecter - http://asprise.com/product/blogcollector/ . I have tried this, but it did not backup all of my posts. I have also posted this on Google Answers. Any help would be appriciated.

Jake, for my blogspot account, I just pipe the content into groups. This creates a backup of all my content!! |
Use the email address Google Groups provides you to directly post and enter the email where Blogger asks for email address to email the posts.
Like pd, it's a great way to do it. |
I was always able to FTP-export the full blog onto my server. Of course, this switch in the settings might get rid of your blogspot domain or might not be compatible once you chose blogspot hosting. Other than that isn't it enough to find a site-backup tool that works on any HTML, following links within a specific sub-domain scope? |
I need to have all of the posts, and I started my blog about a year ago, so I can't afford to lose the old posts. |
Jake ..core reading is here..

Use WGet and parse the HTML files. |
Use http://www.httrack.com/. I backup your site for you, http://xrl.us/psom, every single page. (zip file) |
Haochi, thanks a ton. What did you use?
/pd, I've seen that, but I need a way so that I can backup my blog whenever I need to, without taking that long. Any software has to be for Mac OS X. Thanks everyone, for your help. |
I used HTTrack, it's for Windows though, if you are a Mac user, use WebGrabber, recommended by Lifehacker. http://www.epicware.com/webgrabber.html |
WGet is much more powerful and it's a command-line utility from the Linux world.
WGet for Windows: http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/wget.htm |
WebGrabber is great, but it still doesn't get my earliest posts. |
It saves my posts up to Aug 7, 2005. |
Jake, do you want to move to a new platform? Or just back-up the files and continue on Blogspot? |
I'm not sure. I'm thinking about getting my own server and redirecting to a new site, but I'm not sure. For now, I'll just continue on Blogspot. |
The Google Answers link is here – http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=750432 in case anyone wants it. |
WordPress has an "Import From Blogger" option that will backup a snapshot of your blog. |
Never mind, I got a response from Google Answers. Thanks to everyone! |
