TOMHTML, the first post was on 19th July, so it's still quite new.

BTW, did anyone else notice that the Official Google Blogs now dynamically include their list of Official Google Blogs using this JS file:

So I get a scoop, yeah! :-P
Thanks Tony ;-)

PS : yes, I have ever seen googlebloglist. They modify themselve the JS file "manually", so maybe that's why there was no link before today.

Do you know, how to check who owns particular blog @ blogspot?

I found http://googlepoland.blogspot.com/ but I'm not sure if it's (pre)official. Could be that some cybersquatter was first.

Yes it's a cybersquatter

The real blogs owned by Google display a kind of "404 error", as if the blog is not registred, but I can't register it ;-)
No "test" page ;)

Piotr – I don't know how to check this, but I now that Eric Case i a co-owner of most official google blogs (maybe even all) – http://www.blogger.com/profile/16243347

And he doesn't have this Polish blog in his profile...

TOMHTML – that's not always true. At least one time we found new Google Blog exactly that way.

Ludwik: Thanks. I dropped him a line, we'll see what he can tell us... I also sent an e-mail to G. Poland – still waiting for reply.

I think they actually use Blogger to update the page by making posts. However, they adjust the dates so there's no easy way to see when each link was created except for those that are in the feed (where it shows created and issued dates) and those were all created in January 2006 and backdated to be issued in August 2005. I guess they just do that to order them however they wish.

Anyway, check these out if you fancy digging:

Atom Feed: http://googlebloglist.blogspot.com/atom.xml

August 2005: http://googlebloglist.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_googlebloglist_archive.html

September 2005: http://googlebloglist.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_googlebloglist_archive.html

October 2005: http://googlebloglist.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_googlebloglist_archive.html

November 2005: http://googlebloglist.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_googlebloglist_archive.html

December 2005: http://googlebloglist.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_googlebloglist_archive.html

etc...

Tony > good pick, I even found that :
http://googlebloglist-test.blogspot.com/

Ludwik > OK, I have never seen an official blog with that kind of "test page" before.
I know a way to discover who is the author of the blog, but his profile needs to be indexed. That's not the case actually.

I registered Google Guess a while ago... I want to confirm a rumor that Google simply quietly deletes your Blogspot blog as soon as they want to register one for official use:

Isn't it against Blogger's TOS?

However, be careful, registering the rest of google$COUNTRY.blogspot.com domains (just because) may make you a cybersquatter anyway...

I don't think so. That would be evil.

Someone emailed me telling me they owned GoogleCheckout.blogspot.com before Google converted it to their blog. However, that person never got back to me answering my many questions (when did you register it, do you have proof, backlinks etc.). So I put it in the unverified rumor box...
