The National Association of Recording Merchandisers annual conference begins tomorrow, and Chris Sacca of Google is to give the keynote speech:

Might this be the time for an announcement from Google of some kind of music store? The new music feature in Google Talk suggests they're at least tuned into the issue.
This is pure speculation, of course, but here's hoping.

"Google Music" already exists :

But there is no "music store".
