There are lots of other names for Carneval in the several German regions: Fastnacht, Fasching, Karneval, Fasnet, and more. People also shout many different salutations. "Helau" and "Alaaf" are only the most famous ones. In southern parts you shout "Narri Narro" for example.

I'm a famous movie star and I wanted to know stuff about the german carnivals and this website is rubbish i've never seen such rubbish in my life. I'd rather sit on a loo for like forever than look at this website. And i know this new person who will become a huge star and he would sue the company of this site if he saw it. Get your act together mate!!!!
