There is a big problem I see with a proxy that http://www.google.com/webmasters changed
but it's not the case in French > no links to former Sitemaps or "Site status wizard"
Brrrr |
nothing new in fact, except the name...
oh, and I hope that the "AOL issue" doesn't come back : https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/sitestatus?step=summary&siteUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.outer-court.com |
Edit: added last sentence. |
Anything new.
Webmaster tools huh. Think Analytics will somehow be part of this. |
Hi Tom,
We'll get the localized pages out very soon! |
Thanks for your answer Vanessa.
The better improvement with this update is in "Message site verification" : "No other verified owners were found for your site. You are currently the only verified site owner." Phew...
PS : a link doesn't work : http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/crawlrate?siteUrl=_SITEURL_&hl=en (I have replaced my site by _SITEURL_, of course) |
WOW! "Preferred domain" is a really great step to give webmaster control! I hope there will be more tools like that! I believe it's the first time Google build tool that allow you to set how your site looks in Google results. |
"Page analysis" is also very nice. I haven't seen it before. It displays most common words from external links to my site and most common words in my site content. |
"They didn’t change their logo though..." FALSE Sir Dipp, a French forumer, notices that the logo change > before it was in BETA...
before : http://www.rojowebdesign.nl/bestanden/sitemaps-logo.png
now : http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/images/sitemaps-logo.gif |
You are right. It was cached for me – it read Google Sitemaps Beta for me (even now in the forum until I refreshed the image). |
PS: Might be they changed it after I posted. I don't know. The title still reads "Google Sitemaps". They have to start finding all they forgot :) |
