Looks like some backend change happened to Google Talk. From yesterday evening, my Google talk client shows only one contact as online. Other people can see me but I cannot. They can even send me messages. I can send them back by responding but I still can't see them.

Blocking or some other stealth features are not a problem as some 10 – 20 people can't do at the same time.

If I got my gmail address book, most of my friends are online. I have no idea why this is happening and looks like it is not an isolate issue as my other computer shows the same too.

Anyone noticed similar issues today?

And by the way,
I am using the new Google Talk Client, the one with Voice mail.

Hmm is this a sign of a AIM/GTalk integration?

What version are you using ?

Right click on the Talk icon in the tray and choose About.

It's working allright for me. (I do see that when I'm working wireless and it has a reconnect, than it needs some time to refresh, but that seems normal behaviour to me...)

what about Gmail Talk.. do you see them on Gmail Talk?

Nope, I cannot. But if i type the name, i can see them online and can also chat.

Gtalk in burned and can't open the Gtalk and Gmail.
