If you buy something to day on the net (> 20 $) and you pay with Google Check Out then you'll get a free Google T-Shirt...

Why would they do that? :P |
money.. of course.. a T-Shirt costs them what? 50 cents? a dollar tops? so theyve earn 19 dollars and spent 1 dollar (per person). that how you make revenue!! |
a tshirt for 50cents? URL? |
no no no!! it costs Google 50 cents.. to buy the T-Shirt..
Google buys it for a very small amout of money.. and sell it (not on this case though) but they sell it for a large amount of money.. like this one for example: http://www.googlestore.com/product.asp?catid=5&code=GO0133

<< a T-Shirt costs them what? 50 cents? >>
I doubt even Google can get a T-Shirt for $0.50.
<< so theyve earn 19 dollars and spent 1 dollar (per person). >>
Nope. The store you buy the $20 of goods from make the most money. Google only make around $0.60 – i.e. $0.40 (2%) + $0.20. So it's actually quite a good deal if you really want a Google Checkout T-Shirt. (Google are obviously willing to lose money by bribing people to use Google Checkout because of all the bad reports about it...) |
ha ha tony is humourous.....
and google may do so.... whatever they do they earn......
|
a "free" T-shirt ? ...
and this doesn't work if Google doesn't allow Checkout in your country :-( |
A little bird told me that Googlers have 50% off on every item in GShop ;-) |
anbody get their google t-shirt yet?? I got mine yesterday. It's pretty cool. But what's not cool is I didn't get my order yet!! :) Actually, its on the way after Google finally "resolved" the glitches.... But I think its funny that the t-shirt comes before the order does..... :D |
