I recently found a bug within the new Blogger beta so I submitted it to the Blogger bug submission. I decided that I would chronicle my experience from start to finish with Bloggers tech support. (The article is to big to post here)

Yeah, that's impressive and very not google-like, but they are more likely to answer bug reports about projects that they are currently working on (that are in REAL beta).

What's perhaps more impressive is this...

In the post I wrote on the day Blogger Beta was released, I wrote the following...

Shortly after posting, I got this email from someone on the Blogger team using a "real" email address – i.e. *not* a generic support address:

In what way is the archive widget buggy? We'd like to fix it.

After a couple of emails back and forth and I got this:

Thanks for reporting this. I think we fixed something similar but it
might not have caught all the corner cases. We'll look into it
further.

Now, people can say whatever they like about Google/Blogger support, but when they personally ask you about bugs like this, I think that's impressive!

They've used Google Blog Search to check for the blogs that report about the new Blogger the day it was launched.

Yes, Ionut, I assumed that's what they'd done.

I always get the automated thing. Thank you for reporting blah blah blah.

But the issue does get fixed.

Talking about Blogger, I get a Google-colored server error on Nate's page!

Don't know philipp. I'm not using anything fancy.

Philipp I get it now too, then don't anymore.

I was able to reach it in the meantime...
