well that is certainly not the way skype used to be. If there was interoperability between Skype and Jingle then basically anybody could communicate with Skype users – since Jingle is open. But it's great news. I hope this comes with an integration of video in jingle, then it would be irresistable. Eg. Right now the only gd way to video chat between macs and pcs are through Skype. (iChat-Aim sucks) .. Google would improve that situation a lot.
