In recent weeks Google has been registering large numbers of domains. Last week they registered several using the word test like Google-Test.com. Meaning? TBD. Garrett take a few guesses. http://blogs.zdnet.com/Google/?p=306
On Tuesday, Google registered:
+ bench-index.com (and .org, .info)
+ benchindex.com (and .org, .info)
+ Index-bench.com (and .org, .info)
+ indexbench.com (and .org, .info, .net)
On Tuesday, they also registered the following domains and as Garett notes below, perhaps some type of image tagging tool is coming down the pike:
+ google-imagetagger.com (and .org, .net)
+ googleimagetagger.com (and .org, .net)
+ imagetagger-google.com (and .org, .net)
+ imagetagger.org Note: imagetagger.com is registered to someone in Albany, New York imagetagger.net registered to someone in Broolyn, New York
+ imagetaggergoogle.com (and .org, .net)

Yes, and I note that in my post Kirby but
+ bench-index.com (and .org, .info)
+ benchindex.com (and .org, .info)
+ Index-bench.com (and .org, .info)
+ indexbench.com (and .org, .info, .net)
are also new and I thought the forum would like to now. Apologies for stepping on Garett's post though, I do credit him with a link.

no problem..i just wasn't sure if you saw that post!! :) |
google-test.com makes me think of the Conference on Test Automation that Google is hosting in their London office in a few days' time: http://googleresearch.blogspot.com/2006/04/our-conference-on-automated-testing.html |
I "relaunch" this thread because Google have bought indexbench.fr recently. So this means that they do something with that soon ;-) |
