I wonder if the "Original post" link from GB's feed is made for those who steal content and their readers...

It's meant as permalink back to the original post's location, for reference (e.g. in case something is wrongly rendered in the RSS reader). But the fact that those who republish the full feed copy the link as well is a nice bonus... just so they automatically credit the source.
