I've just signed up for the new Yahoo Photo Beta. Is there anybody who uses it already?

I wonder how they position this in comparison to their Flickr?

why do is Y! having a photo beta now ?? flickr seemed to the be the killer in the social apps/photo shaing space.. why another beta product for images ?

I think Flickr is more for public sharing of images, Yahoo Photo is more for private collections... But sure, both products should merge, as Myweb & delicious should....

Yahoo Photos (Beta) is also available on Yahoo's mobile service (at least here in the U.S.)

The beta went live in April.

They've already had Yahoo Photos. This is just an update.

it loads kinda slow even on DSL.

I got a Y! Photos Beta account a while back. It is not worth worrying about. It is terrible. The AJAX is supposed to make things so easy... but it just makes everything super fiddly. It is like the anti-Flickr. Photo sharing for people who dont want to pay... and don't care about UIs.
