Interesting post on Search Engine Roundtable http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/006052.html about how Google has changed the presentation of results for some url navigational queries.
You remember that until recently entering a url into the Google search box would give you one result with direct links to backlinks, similar pages, pages that contain the term, etc.
As SER points out, that is no longer the case. Now, you get regular organic results.
Using the syntax info:{foo} will allow you to see the old format. The SER post also gives some examples of other services.
