Google has added the ability to have links to your Favorite albums on your main photo's page.
Example: Phillipp on my favorites

You can also Embed your photos in your blog now, I'll see if it works without all the code:

Ok. I've found. "My Favorites" -> "show link on my gallery". I was looking for it in the settings previously.

I've just added my mother's album on my home page :)
