Google celebrates 'the Freedom to read books' with a special page:

I wonder if you can search books that are presently banned in some countries too?

Search on the web first.

I've already mentioned about this (http://blogoscoped.com/forum/67318.html), but it's really nice to create a gallery of censored masterpieces.

The link for A Clockwork Orange "did not match any documents".

It's the most powerful movie I've ever watched, so I guess I should read the book too.

I was surprised to find that five of the 42 "banned books" were ones I studied at high school in the 1970s: To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, Lord of the Flies, Brave New World, Sons & Lovers.

That's 12%. Can anyone do better?

I've read six from middle school through college.

To Kill a Mockingbird
The Lord of the Flies
Of Mice and Men
Catcher in the Rye
1984 (most if it, but I'm going to start reading it again in a few days... it seems very relevant in this day and age)
The Jungle
