What's sad is that these videos are pathetic attempts to cash in on the accident.

I wouldn't find it sad if the real video of the accident was number one. There's nothing wrong with wanting to see how a dramatic accident unfolded – it's part of how humans build their understanding of the world.

If we never saw an ambulance or a car wreck we would all probably drive less carefully...

this video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6854321491717287982 was put up months before steve's death...not any attempt to cash in on the accident. it was put up on "May 26, 2006" although I can't say the same thing about the other video.
