can someone explain this to me please? (read my comment in the picture) |
here is the link where i found it: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search-engines/ |
It's because Google, Yahoo, and others are already in the search bar. Why would you need to install it twice? |
Besides Google is the search engine selected by default. |
It says we put some popular search engines in the search bar. If you want to add more...
This means Google is one of the most popular |
ok.. sorry guys.. my bad :) |
one more thing: Amazon's A9 search engine & MSN search engine are the same..
meaning: MSN search has been upgraded to Live Search and Amazon's A9 search engine is based on Live Search..
how could this be? (lets see what you have to say now ;)) |
Yep, Amazon did this a few weeks before Google released Checkout (or Base).
They quietly switched to Windows Live Search.
Oh well. |
David, please visit A9 http://a9.com before saying they're the same. |
theyre the same! here: youll see this logo: http://static.a9.com/-/static/images/en_US/winlive.gif while searching something on A9.com – http://a9.com/google |
They're not the same. In A9, you can choose a lot of search sources, not just the web search. |
thats not what Firefox is saying: https://addons.mozilla.org/search-engines.php
<< A9 Amazon's A9 SEARCH ENGINE. >> |
Yes A9 is Amazon's Search Engine (Who gets technology from Windows Live)
It's like AOL being powered by Google. |
