"that Google possibly censors based on specific words in URLs, too"

Right – I think this has been mentioned, though I don't want to go digging through the various Open Net Initiative reports to confirm it.

Does anyone know which words are censored? Using the bogus domain "weoiweqoiweoij23.com" I found the following words censored:

tiananmen*
falun
falungong*
dafa

Philipp:
I clicked the link at the bottom of your article, but didn't get any result.

"According to local laws, some search results are not shown. "

I am filled with shame as a Chinese.

Exactly Gg, you won't get any result for that search. Same here.

No one knows which words are blocked.
It seems that the "key words" are changing from time to time.
sex/cunt is ok,
porn/fuck/adult is censored.

Dalailama/lihongzhi is ok,
李洪志/达喇嘛 is censored
