Today i received a mail from google . in my yahoo account .why didnt they send to my gmail address
i think this is fraud.

- did you lose your password or ask for password assistance? - in case you did, you would not be able to log into GMail anyway and thus the message to your alternate ID. |
It all looks genuine to me. And even if you didn't ask for a password reset, someone else could have done... |
no i havent asked it if i would have asked it why it didnt send a mail to my gmail id and why to my yahoo id |
Think about it:
you have this address: i.forget.oftengmail.com you forget your password click on the "forgot my pass" link
Of course they send the reset link to the secondary mail address. You forgot the pass from your gmail address, remember? |
