FireFox 2 is in serious beta!
every time i exit firefox and reopen it , it chooses between the old version (1.5 version) and the 2 beta version
when it shows the old version is also shows some of the 2 beta 2 features (as shown at the picture above)

does it happen to others? :/

I think the issue that you have here is the you installed the beta on the same profile as your normal 1.5 version. I did this a while back and it is very annoying. You get things like it checks extension compatibility everytime you launch as well as always getting the updated page.

You should either ditch 1.5 or just stick to 1.5 for the time being.

I opted for the latter.

Or create a new profile:

Start / Run
Enter "firefox -p"
