They assume you come from this page, that is linked from the homepage: http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en |
No I've seen it for quite some time. |
It's been there for as long as I can remember. |
same, I've been using it for years on my language homework :) |
It is a new url.
Previously translate.google.com would just redirect to google.com. The interface is the same old stuff but this redirect is brand new.
I take it that new goodies are going to show up on this sub-domain. |
didnt get it.. is it new or old? some say new, some say old.. |
David: functionality is old, redirect = new |
<< It is a new url. >>
How come you think the redirect is new? I'm sure I've been using translate.google.com to get there for ages... |
It is definitely not new. I agree with Tony, I've translate.google.com too for quite some time. |
I'm sure that page is really not new at all, but usually I do not access to that page by "translate.google.com". Usually this page is known as http://www.google.com/translate_t ;-)
|
I am pretty sure it wasn't used to be translate.google.com. Because i use type them all the time and it will redirect to homepage and i would click on the language tools link to get there and i use to wonder why they use to do it. It was like that the last time i checked some few months ago. |
yeah i am sure about it........ @ tony and TOMHTML translate.google.com is new ...
i've tried accessing the above url sometimes back and i get a page cannot be displayed error... usually google.com/translate_t works...
But i think Google has updated a new url translate.google.com |
