When we first discovered SearchMash.com it reminded me, not in
services, but in concept, to a search service (a trial site) from another large engine. Sort of a search playground.

Back in June we posted: that Yahoo had applied for a servicemark/trademark for a search engine named Trovetopia.

shopping search guru Brian Smith reported that Trovetopia was a "test bed for [Yahoo!] APIs it's built entirely using the web services available on the Yahoo! Developer Network."

+ Trovetopia's focus is shopping.
