I don't know how recent this is, but last week I noticed that Google Maps had added map data in Brazil and other countries...
Only satelite imagery was available before.

The maps seems beautiful, but by now they aren't very useful.. You can't yet find streets or get driving directions... All you can do is search for a city and view its map...
