Peanuts and Dilbert are more known for appearing in newspapers (without cover) than in numbered issues (with cover), that's why they probably don't fit... though it might be possible to include some trade paperback collections.

I once begged the Yahoo API team to give me more queries and they were nice enough to do so (same for the Google API team). But I still hit on a query limit with Yahoo and then interestingly enough I just switched my IP (my ISP gives me a dynamic IP, so I just hit the reboot button), and the limitation was gone again...

What a pitty that the most famous Comic from East Germany has no place there. It was named Mosaik. The heroes were named Digedags, three little boys travelling all over the world. BTW also Fix and Fax i find very pretty. :-)

Take a look to www.encycloBD.com. More thant 100.000 French and Dutch titles but will soon cover other countries. French mangas and US Comics are also referenced. Best

I also want to add German comics in the future Thomas... the only limitations are time, and whether or not I can scan or find covers using the Yahoo API approach.

If you scan them, just put them in a folder named "action-comics" and name them "101.jpg", "102.jpg" and so on in a good quality, I'll do the rest...
