I don't use blogspot much, so I'm especially surprised that I've noticed it down a number of times – just doesn't have the "quality of service" that the main Google page does. My guess in mosts cases is things are just "burping" on their end ... but will be interesting to see if this was an actual hack.

Yup – it was spitting out 500 error pages all over the place. Sometimes they were just a generic error page whilst other times they were the Google-branded server error page.

With Blogger Beta being fine throughout, it's quite obvious where their priorities lie now...

any idea if this has been verified as a "work of hackers" ?? There were no flags, or alreats within the sec community..

Blogger seems like it goes down every few minutes.

The only source is the Nana blog, which itself quotes someone who quotes someone. Frankly, that makes it nothing but an unverified rumor, so I'll believe it when I see it...
