Looks impressive. Especially the OfflineSync. great for the pre-wifi-cloud years.

I'm sure Google will want to watch it for some success before they go ahead and buy.

Why buy? they already are building a strong office 'weblication'. All they need is to implement some great features...

Working offline, means that your not connected!! :)-

its has some great offline sync features.etc.. but having a broswer set to offline status ? What am I missing ??

I think it's just demonstrating that it's actually offline rather than them saying it is but it isn't.

I don't think google needs to buy out anyone-- they can add features that they don't already have and i don't think competition is really a worry. msft is the one who is supposed to be the one who buys out every market it can and make a crappy product that everyone will buy because it says microsoft on it

that offline sync and whatever else they are rolling out with it is the thing that's really going to make it an msft office competitor
