I've always wondered that if humankind went through another dark ages could certain texts like Tolkein's Lord of the Rings become the basis for new religions. Perhaps this could only happen if (when?) English becomes the newe Latin spoken only by the highly learned.

I don't know, my son would love that ... maybe advanced societies will think "cute" is in just as much as modern societies (such as Japan) do. In 5,000 years, I'd love to see what psychiatrists would think when the archaeologists showed them this:
