Look at the 2nd from last result "Tendulkar keeps tryst with Gavaskar's destiny"

Google claims it is from 1980, however going to the page reveals it's from 2004.

Any Cricket enthusiast can confirm that Tendulkar hit his 34th Test Centuary in 2004 and not in 1980.

As a matter of fact, Tendulkar was 7 years old in 1980 (and I guess barely started learning cricket, put aside playing for the international team)

His age can be confirmed here (Cricinfo)

Shows as 1980 here too. I wonder how Google grabs this data in the first place...

Philipp , thats the problem with the new archive which they (goog) say are trusted publications..!! <<Over 3,000 trusted publications. >> ??

If these MSM publications make an err , then it trickles down the news wire and evenutally gets staturated on the G-news archive ..

The secondly issue is that Sohil is pointing out is how the actuall content / news is getting misaligned on timelines , in this case "Jul 22, 1980" , this could also mean that their timeline on news is perfectly flawed!!
